Karki declares mourning, pledges 6-month tenure — Day 3
On Day 3, PM Sushila Karki’s government observed a national day of mourning for Gen Z protesters killed during recent unrest, advanced compensation and state honors for victims, and reiterated that her interim tenure will not exceed six months ahead of elections planned for March 5, 2026.
